PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the shock by heightening the shock absorbing characteristic in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction by a side member part at the collision of a vehicle while the maneuvering stability is enhanced through heightening of the rigidity in the vehicle width direction of a suspension cross-member. SOLUTION: The suspension cross-member of the vehicle is composed of a left and a right side member 2, cross-member 3, and a left and a right angle part 4, wherein coupling part foam material filling parts 19 filled with a foam material are formed in the coupling part of the cross-member 3 with the side members 2 so that the coupling rigidity of the cross-member 3 with the side members 2 is increased, and because at this time, the tails of the side members 2 are fixed to front side frames 6, the total rigidity of the cross-member 3 and the side members 2, chiefly the rigidity in the vehicle width direction, can be enhanced.
