A drill system for non blocking deep drilling has the drill chuck fitted with an oscillator housing (10) and a rotating oscillator (11) and with two bearings (30, 32) whose two bearing tracks (31, 33) face each other and with one track (31) set into a reciprocating tipping action by the circuit of the bearing element (34). The overall effect is to impart an improved oscillating action on the drill bit to generate swarf with a periodically varying width, which easily breaks up into small pieces which are flushed away with the cooling fluid.
