<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wide variety of model teeth for a dentistry training in small quantities at a high level dimensional accuracy in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the model tooth for the dentistry training having a retainer form 4 and a cavity form 3 on a tooth crown 1 which are artificially formed by imitation, comprises a process of molding an artificial model tooth composed of the tooth crown 1 and a tooth root 2 artificially formed by imitation, a process of creating shape data related to a desired retainer form or cavity form, a process of converting the shape data into cutting data for forming the retainer form or the cavity form, and a process of cutting and molding the retainer form or the cavity form on the tooth crown of the artificial model tooth using the cutting data. When obtaining the shape data, a desired retainer form or the cavity form may be applied to the artificial model tooth to perform a three-dimensional measurement or the desired retainer form or the cavity form may be applied to the shape data of the artificial model tooth on the data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
