<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is excellent in ground skin part maintenance and image part maintenance, and is particularly excellent in light resistance shelf life. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material having an undercoat layer comprising a pigment and an adhesive as main components on a substrate, and a thermal recording layer comprising an electron-accepting compound which reacts with an electron-donating ordinarily colorless or light-colored dye precursor during heating to color the dye precursor, is characterized by comprising at least one electron-accepting compound expressed by general formula 1 in the thermal recording layer, and at least one organic pigment with through-holes, organic hollow particle with an opening or organic hollow particle substantially with no opening as a pigment in the undercoat layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
