<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having an excellent coated surface quality, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material is manufactured by forming a laminated structure of two or more layers by applying two or more different coating solutions on a support simultaneously substantially. In this manufacturing method of the thermal recording material, the surface tension of the coating solution forming the uppermost layer in the laminated structure is made smaller by 7 mN/m or more than that of the coating solution forming the layer positioned adjacently just under the uppermost layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
