NEW MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AND UTILIZATION OF THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody recognizing a protein specifically expressed in M-phase cells and also a method for labelling, collecting and detecting the M-phase cells in a high yield by using the monoclonal antibody.

SOLUTION: This monoclonal antibody recognizing a regulatory light chain of doubly phosphorylated myosin II expressed specifically in human mitotic phase cells, and a hybridoma expressing the monoclonal antibody are prepared. By using the monoclonal antibody, it is possible to label and detect the mitotic phase cells in a high accuracy, and further to collect the mitotic phase cells in a high yield.
