<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proper method and a device for transferring data for reducing the threat such as interception, falsification, and import to an inappropriate device of data exported when replacing a device for managing important data such as signature generation history data. <P>SOLUTION: In a transfer destination device, a pair of keys in a public key encryption technique are generated and, a secret key of the pair of keys is stored and a public key is outputted to the outside. In a transfer source device, the public key and a password are inputted, and transfer data wherein the data to be transferred are encrypted in accordance with the public key and the password are outputted. In the transfer destination device, the transfer data and the password are inputted, and the data to be transferred wherein the transfer data are decrypted by using the password and the secret key stored in the transfer destination device are stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
