<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device which is capable of suppressing the cost of manufacturing low and highly reliable. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit device comprises a sensor 20 formed on a portion of a semiconductor substrate 10, a circuit 30 which is formed around the sensor 20 on the semiconductor substrate 10 and processes an electrical signal generated in the sensor 20, and a seal ring 40 provided between the sensor 20 and the circuit 30. This seal ring 40 is arranged between the outer periphery of the sensor 20 and the inner periphery of the circuit 30. The seal ring 40 surrounds the sensor 20.
