METHOD OF SELECTING OPTIMIZED MARKER SET FROM MULTIPLE SNP MARKER ASSOCIATED WITH COMPLEX DISEASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of selecting an optimized SNP marker set from multiple of SNP markers associated with a complex disease.

SOLUTION: The method of selecting the optimized SNP marker set from the multiple SNP markers includes (a) a step for selecting an SNP marker set having a high association from the plurality of SNP markers using set-association, (b) a step for selecting the SNP markers having the high association by performing discrimination analysis on arbitrary combinations of the markers included in the SNP marker set and (c) a step for selecting an optimized SNP marker combination satisfying selection criteria by using ROC curve analysis concerning the arbitrary combination of the selected marker.
