<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a solution of an optimization problem with a constraint condition by an easy procedure. <P>SOLUTION: The optimization problem with the constraint condition is solved using a linear approaching process to a hypersurface S(r)=0 as the constraint condition, and a minimum value searching process along a curved face brought into secondary contact with a geodesic line of the hypersurface S(r)=c passing a point r, by processes of (1) an initial value setting of the point r, (2) linear approaching to the hypersurface S(r)=0, (3) calculation of unit normal line vector, (4) a gradient vector of a real function E(r)-a projection of [differential of the E(r)] on a contact face, and (5) constraint determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
