PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for improving the comfort and safety of a drive by extracting a guide point, mutually approaching a guidance route as an attention point and previously displaying simulation traveling of a prescribed section before and behind it, and to provide its method and program. SOLUTION: An extraction part 12 extracts attention points supposed which are probably necessary for preparatory knowledge on the drive from among each guide point transmitted from a basic prior part 11, for instance, the attention points such as a plurality of continuous intersection points in a prescribed time interval or distance by guidance guide, confluent points, branched points, and lane modification and stores information such as coordinates of each attention point to DB 13. A display processing part 14 reads the attention points stored in extracted DB 13, and displays the simulated travelling simulating and outputting practical map display and guidance guide in front and in back of the prescribed section from forehand of the attention point to post-passage.
