PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in the case of heating by high frequency induction heating that in the case of a large sized work, there exists a limit in equipment for enlarging a work coil in order to gain enough power output for heating the whole of a large sized work at one time, and that the heating temperature tends to be fluctuated easily in the case the work shape is not uniform such as a pipe when only one output source is available. SOLUTION: In the high frequency induction heating part 3 of the work heating device 1, a pair of work coils are arranged facing mutually in a state that they are respectively housed in coil cases 17, 19. Since the respective coil cases 17, 19 are composed movably by motors installed underneath them, distances between the pair of work coils as well as the distance between the work coils of both sides and the work (W) can be adjusted. Furthermore, a plurality of high frequency induction heating parts 3 are arranged, and a high frequency power source is connected to each of them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
