PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large capacity flexible disk capable of high density magnetic recording with high running durability. SOLUTION: This flexible disk medium has a magnetic layer composed of a ferromagnetic metal alloy formed at least on the surface of a flexible macromolecule base, projections of an average height h nm formed on the outermost surface, and a liquid lubricant of an average film thickness d nm provided thereon.
