PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by suppressing vibration of an optical pickup supporting member and to improve reading performance of the optical pickup. SOLUTION: An optical pickup feeding device includes an optical pickup supporting member 5 which is provided with an optical pickup 6 that conducts at least one of the signal recording operation or the signal reproducing operation for a disk, a lead screw 11 in which a screw groove 12 is formed on the outer peripheral surface; and a meshing member 14 for feeding on which a tooth section 16 that is meshed to the screw groove 12. The meshing member 14 for feeding is formed into the shape in which the total of the width sizes in its middle section is made to be less than the total of the width sizes in other portions.
