PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which occurrence of erroneous insertion of a disk is prevented by a display section. SOLUTION: A navigation device 100 for a vehicle is provided with a display section 110, a main body 120 having a plurality of disk insertion ports 106a and 107a on the front surface, a display section driver 112 which is used to vary the angle of the display section 110 with respect to the front surface of the main body 120 and a control circuit 108 which is provided in the main body 120 and used to control the operations of the display section driver 112. The operations of the display section driver 112 are controlled by the control circuit 108 and the angular state of the display section 110 with respect to the front surface of the main body 120 is varied so that disks can be inserted into the plurality of disk insertion ports 106a and 107a in a stepwise manner between a closed state in which the disk insertion ports 106a and 107a are completely closed and an open state in which disks can be inserted into all of the ports 106a and 107a.
