PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dot inversion driving and to reduce power consumption for the dot inversion driving in an active matrix display device. SOLUTION: First video signal voltage V is outputted from a 1st output buffer 22 in a driving LSI 20 and 2nd video signal voltage *V having polarity reverse to that of the 1st video signal voltage V is outputted from a 2nd output buffer 23. The 1st and 2nd video signals V, *V are supplied to a drain driver 2 on a display panel 2 through a pair of signal wires. The drain driver 2 supplies the 1st video signal voltage V to a certain pixel through a drain line 5 and a TFT 9 and applies the 2nd video signal voltage *V having the reverse polarity to a pixel adjacent to the pixel. Thus the video signal voltages V, *V having mutually reversed polarity are applied to all upper and lower and right and left adjacent pixels. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
