PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and industrially crystallizing a highly purified halogenated alkyl pyridinium salt without depositing the crystal on the wall surface of a reaction vessel. SOLUTION: This crystallization method for the halogenated alkyl pyridinium salt is characterized by dissolving by heating a crude product containing the halogenated alkyl pyridinium salt obtained by conducting a heat reaction between an alkyl halide and a pyridine compound in a water-soluble organic solvent and conducting a crystallization treatment at a temperature of 50°C or lower by adding the resulting solution to the water soluble organic solvent.
