PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing apparatus, easily heighten the degree of freedom in disposing a locking mechanism naturally by making a fixing structure of the locking mechanism to a latch mechanism common to the upper end part and the lower end part of a handle, or making the same common to any position if necessary. SOLUTION: This storing apparatus includes: a door 3 for opening and closing an opening of the storing device body 1; the latch mechanism 5 for fixing the door 3 to the storing device body 1; the handle 4 for operating to release the fixing state of the latch mechanism; and the locking mechanism 100 for locking the latch mechanism 5. The handle 4 is provided extending over the substantially whole area along the edge part 3a of the door 3, and the locking mechanism 100 binds the handle 4 inoperative. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
