PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize excess steam from a boiler disposed to a pulse detonation generating system. SOLUTION: The pulse detonation generating system has; a detonation pipe 27 having a cavity of a predetermined length in which detonation is generated; a gas supply part 21 feeding gas into the detonation pipe 27 at predetermined time intervals; a fuel supply part 3 supplying gas into the detonation pipe 27 at predetermined time intervals; an ignition plug 25 igniting the fuel accumulated by the supply; and a reformer 5 utilizing the steam for reforming the fuel. The gas supply part 21 has a steam turbine 15 operated by the excess steam of the boiler 7 which generates the steam, and a compressor 17 compressing the gas by using motive power received from the steam turbine 15, so that energy from the detonation is generated in the detonation pipe 27 and is led to the turbine 31, so that power generation is performed by a generator 33.
