Two or more parallel-connected thermal stores (1), such as ceramic monolithic heat stores, are arranged in the air flow of a ventilator (2). The channels of the thermal stores are arranged at angles to the axis of the ventilator. Insulating material (5) is preferable used on all surfaces subject to thermal losses. All thermal stores, ventilators and insulating materials can be removed from the housing without tools.
