<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoclave sterilization method which enables the credible performance of work items specific to autoclave sterilization of an endoscope and also that of sterilization treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The autoclave sterilization method is used for sterilizing the endoscope 2 having, within the endoscope, at least one of conduits (40-45) for passing liquid inside. One end of the each conduit opens outward on the front end 17 of an insertion section 7 and the other end opens outward on a position different from the insertion section.
