<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which stable driving force can be supplied to an air compressor or a hydrogen circulation pump. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system (10) comprises an air compressor (40) for supplying compressed air to a cathode electrode (23) of a fuel cell (20), a hydrogen circulation pump (50) for circulating hydrogen off-gas to an anode electrode (22), and a hydrogen tank (30) for supplying hydrogen gas to the anode electrode (22) of the fuel cell (20). The air compressor (40) and the hydrogen circulation pump (50) are gas-driven type pumps which are driven by the hydrogen gas to be supplied from the hydrogen tank (30) to the anode electrode (22).
