<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network complex having a hydrophilic domain selectively passing water and proton therethrogh and a hydrophobic domain selectively passing oxygen therethrogh, and moreover sufficient domain size just for use and for passing reaction components without hindrance. <P>SOLUTION: A bidentate compound having a rigid linear hydrophobic area, a pendant hydrophilic area, and coordinating areas each existing at the both ends of the linear hydrophobic area, is provided, wherein, by the pendant hydrophilic area, a hydrophilic area having asymmetric axis vicinity to the axis of the linear hydrophobic area is formed and the coordinating areas have lone-pair electrons forming coordinate bonds directing in the axis extending direction of the linear hydrophilic area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
