<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enciphering/decoding system, in which data is enciphered and stored and the data is used by decoding at the time of access, an enciphering/decoding device, and a portable terminal device for improving confidentiality. <P>SOLUTION: An enciphering/decoding device including a clock checking means for checking time, a password generating means for generating a password based on the checked time by the clock checking means, and an enciphering/decoding means for permitting the enciphering/decoding when an input password and a reference password agree with each other is provided. A portable terminal device including a clock checking means for checking time, a password generating mens for generating a password based on the checked time by the clock checking means, and a password generating means for generating the password, which was formed by the password generating means, as an output, and an input system for entering the password, which was offered by the password generating means of the portable terminal device, as an input password in the enciphering/decoding device are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
