<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake structure, in which large braking force can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: This disc brake 10 is provided with a wheel disc 12 that is rotatable with an axle, having a ring gear 14 provided in an inner circumferential surface, first pinion gears 16a disposed at a plurality of positions to be engaged with the ring gear 14, and a circular disc rotor 20 having a gear in an outer circumferential surface to be engaged with second pinion gears 16b to be supported. The disc rotor 20 supported by the second pinion gears 16b on the outer circumferential side is rotated apart from a hub 24 and the wheel disc 12. Based on relation between the numbers of teeth in gears formed on the ring gear 14 and the disc rotor 20, the disc rotor 20 is rotated at higher speed than the wheel disc 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
