RUBBER SUPPORT FOR BRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber support for a bridge by which a planar dimension of a rubber layer is reduced, the rubber support is minimized, and the cost is reduced. SOLUTION: The rubber support for the bridge is formed by vulcanizing and molding a rubber layer 1 and a steel plate 2 laminated alternately. The rubber layer 1 comprises a short fiber composite rubber including a rubber and short fibers oriented in any one of a direction X of a bridge axis and a direction Y orthogonal to the bridge axis, so that the shearing elastic moduli in the direction X of the bridge axis and the direction Y orthogonal to the bridge axis may differ.
