PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of correcting a correction factor quickly and exactly. SOLUTION: This navigation system is provided with a memory part 18 stored with the plurality of correction factors, and a control part 12 for indicating the correction factor in response to a vehicular speed to a vehicle position/direction computing part 14, and for correcting a shift in output timing of a vehicular speed pulse caused by a change of the vehicular speed. When a tire diameter is varied by the change of the vehicular speed, the accurate vehicular speed is found while coping with the change of the vehicular speed, by using the correction factor in response to the vehicular speed, although the shift is generated in the output timing of the vehicular speed pulse.
