LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE MATERIAL, ITS PACKAGING METHOD, PRINTING PLATE AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate material excellent in preservability and on-machine developing properties, a method for packaging the lithographic printing plate material, a printing plate and a printing method. SOLUTION: In the method for packaging a lithographic printing plate material which has a hydrophilic layer and an imaging layer formed in that order on a plastic support and is wound around a cylindrical core member in a roll-like form, a flange formed on both end parts of the core member tightly covers both end parts of the lithographic printing plate material. In addition, a polymer resin moisture-proof leader which has a length not less than 1.5 times the outer peripheral length of the roll and shows a moisture permeability of not more than 10×10-5g/Pa m225°C day, is continuously fitted to the outermost end of the material.
