PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic carrier causing no image defect such as white void and giving high image density and excellent dot reproducibility in a developing system of rotating a developing sleeve and a photoreceptor in the forward direction. SOLUTION: The magnetic carrier contains at least magnetic particles, a resin and fine particles, wherein the surface of the fine particles is treated with a conductive substance.
