PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube (CRT) grounding tool which is easily attached to a CRT and surely adhered to an external conductive film. SOLUTION: A grounding tool 6 adhered to an external conductive film 4 formed in a funnel portion 2 of a CRT 1 is configured by internally mounting a rubber band 8 over a braided wire 7, and ring-like lock parts 9 are formed in both ends of the grounding tool 6. At least one of the lock parts 9 is covered with the braided wire 7. The lock parts 9 are locked to fitting metals 5 of the CRT 1, so that the rubber band 8 is press-contacted and mounted on the external conductive film 4 while being elongated, thereby obtaining the state of adhering the braided wire 7 on the external conductive film 4.
