PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high-efficiency wide dynamic range amplifier circuit that attains both a wide dynamic range and high power efficiency with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This high-efficiency wide dynamic range amplifier circuit is provided with a variable gain amplifier making gain control, a power amplifier connected to a post stage of the variable gain amplifier in series, a variable voltage power source that feeds the power to the power amplifier and can control a power supply voltage, and a level conversion circuit connected into one path of control voltage given to the variable gain amplifier and the variable voltage power source in common to adjust a control voltage range.
