PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional terminator that the reflecting characteristic of the terminator is deteriorated because a difference of a characteristic impedance is caused between the terminator and a line conductor connected to the terminator resulting in inconsitency in the circuit due to the connection of them when a thin film resistor is upsized to obtain the terminator for high power. SOLUTION: This terminator is provided with a line conductor and a thin film resistor connected to the end of the line conductor and whose line width is broader than that of the line conductor, and the line conductor has a prescribed line width over a prescribed length before the connected part to the thin film resistor so as to reduce a change in the characteristic impedance of the line conductor thereby obtaining an excellent reflecting characteristic over a broad frequency band.
