摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for assessing the tolerance of the path of a linear, flexible object such as wire harness that allows analyzing the tolerance range of a laying path between constraint points using a finite element method and thus confirming the positional relationship of the path with respect to surrounding parts on a screen. SOLUTION: The device includes a laying path analyzing means 10 for analyzing the standard laying path of the linear, flexible object using a finite element method while using shape data and constraint conditions as input conditions; a tolerance data storage means 11 for storing tolerance data included in the input conditions; a tolerance range analyzing means 12 for analyzing the tolerance range of the laying path with respect to the standard laying path using the finite element method on the basis of the input conditions and the tolerance data; and an image display means 14 for providing a graphic display of the three-dimensional shapes of the linear, flexible object and the surrounding parts along the standard laying path analyzed and a display of the tolerance range.
