PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloshing damper capable of corresponding to the shake of a structure in horizontal two directions intersecting at right angles and having different period characteristics and additionally in the horizontal diagonal direction. SOLUTION: The sloshing damper 10 stores water 2 having a predetermined water depth h in a cylindrical container 1 of an ellipsoid viewed from top having a major axis D<SB>1</SB>and a minor axis D<SB>2</SB>. Sloshing periods in the major axis direction L and minor axis direction S of the ellipsoid tune to proper periods in the main axis two directions of the structure respectively.
