The wishbone (1) of especially light metal consists of a first upper flat sheet bar, with at least one edge profiled in the fashion of a channel. An additional channel profile (4) is seated on the aforesaid channel and is materially connected to the channel edge of the first sheet bar so that the channel forms with the channel profile a hollow passage. At least one additional functional element (5-7) is attached to the corner sections of the first steel sheet bar and are especially a pin to support vibration damper, a sleeve for a bearing, or a knuckle bolt bearing.
