<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner having excellent development stability, filming resistance, low temperature fixing property and offset resistance, and also having charging stability and a long life, to provide a toner container filled with the toner and a developer containing the toner, and to provide a method for forming a image and an image forming apparatus using the developer. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is characterized in that: the toner contains a modified polyester resin (i) as a toner binder resin; a melt kneaded material of the toner shows the 1/2 outflow temperature at 105 to 120°C measured by an elevated flow tester; the toner has 3 to 7 μm volume average particle diameter (Dv) and 1.01 to 1.25 ratio (Dv/Dn) of the volume average particle diameter (Dv) to the number average particle diameter (Dn); toner particles having ≤4 μm particle diameters are included in an amount of <10 number% and/or toner particles having ≥8 μm particle diameters are included in an amount of <2 volume%; and the toner contains 0.3 to 5.0 parts by weight of an external additive to 100 parts by weight of the mother toner having 0.93 to 0.99 average circularity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
