<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as propagation of mold and emission of fermentation smell in heating and softening a milk fat product kept in frozen state or in cold storage in producing a grain flour preparation comprising grain flour such as wheat flour conventionally supplied as a raw material for producing a food and a milk fat product such as butter in a solid state at a low temperature as msin raw materials, and no milk fat product intentionally provided with a scorching flavor on the market. <P>SOLUTION: A milk fat product kept in frozen state or in cold storage in a block form is heat-treated in a short time, softened or fluidized and provided with a scorching flavor. The milk fat product is mixed with grain flour. Consequently, propagation of mold and fermentation smell having fear of occurrence in a milk fat product are avoided and the grain flour preparation having a scorching flavor is obtained.
