<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for improving use efficiency of a user license in environment wherein a simultaneous connection number of users is limited. <P>SOLUTION: This login management method executed by a computer system requiring login by the user and dealing with a plurality of kinds of applications includes: a step for determining a prescribed allowed time on the basis of the application selected by the user and an attribute of the user, and storing it into a storage device; and a logoff step forcibly making the user log off when detecting that data related to the selected application are not inputted nor received beyond the prescribed allowed time stored in the storage device. Thus, by forcibly making the user decided that the user does not perform processing log off on the basis of the allowed time properly set according to a department to which the user belongs and the application with which the user deals, for example, the number of the connectable users increases, and not only the use efficiency of the user license but also operational efficiency can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
