AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND NODE TO BE SUITABLY USED IN THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system and an authenticating method capable of determining whether the opposite node is a reliable node even when the reliability of the opposite node can not be obtained from a different node and to provide a node to be suitably used in them.

SOLUTION: This authentication system is provided with a communicating part 11 by which a node 10a that can communicate with a node 10b and a node 10c through a network requests reliability calculated by the node 10c to the node 10b from the node 10b, and a control part 13 for determining whether the node 10b is a reliable node on the basis of the reliability to the node 10b received from the node 10b.
