EDGE-HEATER FOR STEEL PLATE IN HOT-ROLLING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge-heater for steel plate in a hot-rolling with which uneven quality in the width direction of a rolled material is eliminated at a finish-rolling in the hot-rolling line.

SOLUTION: In the edge heater for steel plate in the hot-rolling, this edge heater for steel plate has the peculiarity, in which a reinforcing copper plate is arranged at the iron core cooling end part of an inductor in the edge-heater and further, a curving surface R is arranged at the corner part of the iron core coil inserting part of the injector in the edge heater.
