摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predicting method and a predicting instrument for eroded part in an iron-tapping trough for blast furnace with which maintenance management is easy in comparison with conventional methods and the detection of presumed position to the erosion is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: The predicting instrument for eroded part in the iron-tapping trough for blast furnace, is improved, which is provided with; an optical fiber fitted along the longitudinal direction of the iron-tapping trough for blast furnace lined with monolithic refractory in an iron frame; a light oscillator for oscillating a pulse light in the optical fiber; a light detector for detecting Raman scattering light returned back to an incident side in the scattering light emitted at the high temperature part of the iron-tapping trough and detecting respective intensities by dividing the Raman scattering light into a Stokes light and an anti-Stokes light; and a computer connected to the light oscillator and the light detector and performing the transmission of the pulse light, the separation of the Raman scattering light, the temperature calculation of the high temperature part from the intensity ratio of the Stokes light and the anti-Stokes light and the positional calculation of the high temperature part from the return-back time of the incident light. Concretely, the optical fibers are fitted by mutually separating at the distance of≤0.5 m on the outer peripheral surface of the iron frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
