PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upgraded method for manufacturing a composite microporous membrane. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the composite microporous membrane comprises a process to coat a non-hole precursor film with a polymer composition and a process to stretch the coated non-hole precursor film. The stretching process includes a first stretching step to be put into practice at a first temperature and a first stretching rate and a second stretching step to be put into practice at a second temperature and a second stretching rate.
