PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester excellent in adhesion to metals and its applications. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal polyester contains at least an aromatic hydroxy carboxylic acid, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, and a diol component as the components of the main chain-constituting compounds in the molecular main chain.
