PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-droplet discharge head which is prepared to give a cooling function in the system different from the discharged-ink feeding system and provided with a cooling system by forming grooves on an exoergic substrate as a countermeasures against densification and then provides the part which makes a material with large heat conductivity contact the substrate, and a manufacturing method for the same, a liquid cartridge and an ink-jet recording device. SOLUTION: In the liquid-droplet discharge head which has a liquid-droplet discharge section with an outlet 5 discharging the liquid-droplet and the substrate 1 equipped with an electrothermal transfer 3 for generating a thermal energy utilized for discharging the liquid which has been fed to the liquid-droplet section, and performs the operation of feeding the liquid to the liquid-droplet discharge section via a through-hole 2 provided on the substrate, the substrate 1 is provided with the groove 11 at more than one positions.
