PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of magnetic material dispersion resin carrier which prevents carrier deposition on a photoreceptor and permits high definition and high quality image in a full color copy image, to provide a magnetic material dispersion resin carrier obtained by the production method of magnetic material dispersion resin carrier and to provide an image forming method using the magnetic material dispersion resin carrier. SOLUTION: The production method of magnetic material dispersion resin carrier core comprising binder resin and metal compound particles which are dispersed in the binder resin and contain at least magnetic material contains a process of classifying particles of a prescribed grain size and particles crushed by agitation/shearing action after applying a shear to carrier core particles through the agitation/shearing action.
