PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network facsimile equipment, capable of preventing transmission history and a transmission image information from being utilized by others. SOLUTION: In the network facsimile equipment which is connected to a local area network, in which one or more workstation equipments are connected and transmits/receives facsimile data to/from facsimile equipment via a public network by using a specified facsimile protocol, the equipment requests entry of a password for the transmission history, when an operation for a transmission of an image information is achieved; registers entered password for the transmission history in a history information produced, with respect to operation for the transmission of an image information; and at the same time, takes only the history information, in which the password for the transmission log that corresponds to the password for the transmission history informed from the workstation equipment is registered and transmits it to the workstation equipment of a request source, when acquisition of information of the transmission history is requested by the workstation equipment, connected to the local-area network.
