PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver or mobile terminal device comprising a function with which a broadcast under viewing on a broadcast receiver is continuously viewed or continuously recorded. SOLUTION: There is provided a broadcast receiver which comprises: a reception section for receiving a broadcast program from a broadcasting station; a broadcasting station information sending section for sending, to an external device, broadcasting station information containing an instruction relating to broadcast program viewing and channel information of the broadcast program; and a broadcasting station information acquisition request receiving section for receiving an acquisition request of broadcasting station information, and which sends said broadcasting station information at least in response to a change of a reception broadcasting station, a predetermined time interval, OFF of an apparatus power source or if the broadcasting station information acquisition request receiving section receives a broadcasting station information sending request from the external device. A broadcasting station information acquisition section for acquisition from the external device, and a control section for performing processing based on the acquired broadcasting station information are also provided.
