CONTACT IMAGE SENSOR MODULE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact image sensor module clearly reading an original placed on a plate face of an original platen of an image reading apparatus and an original placed at a position apart from the plate face, and also to provide the image reading apparatus provided with the same. SOLUTION: The contact image sensor module is provided with: a first image sensor wherein a first light receiving element group is linearly arranged; a second image sensor wherein a second light emitting element group is arranged in parallel with the first light emitting element group; a first lens section for sharply forming an image of a first object at a position apart from the light receiving face of the first light receiving element group by a first distance to the first light receiving element group; and a second lens group for sharply forming an image of a second object apart from the light receiving face of the first light receiving element group by a second distance different from the first distance to the second light receiving element group.
