PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a retrieval condition and the result thereof are not all ones required by a retrieving person, in the case only by the condition that the retrieval condition is similar, although the similar retrieval condition in history information is retrieved in a conventional art to use the retrieval condition and the result thereof for the retrieval in this time, related to an information retrieval system using the history information in the past. SOLUTION: The retrieving person inputs a searching intention by a composition before starting the retrieval to solve the problem hereinbefore, the intention is correlated with a result determined to be as useful to be stored as a history, and the retrieving person hereafter retrieves the intention in the past expressed by the composition.
