PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-angle imaging lens for a solid imaging element, which is stable regardless of a change in the temperature of a use environment though the lens has a wide angle view and high resolution, and to provide a camera module. SOLUTION: The wide-angle imaging lens is composed by arranging, in order from an object side: the first lens L1 which has a meniscus shape and a negative power and whose convex face is in the direction of the object; a diaphragm S; the second lens L2 which has convex faces on its both sides and a positive power; and the third lens L3 which has concave faces on its both sides and a negative power. Among the faces, the face R1 and the face R7 are aspherical. The wide-angle imaging lens satisfies the following conditions: (1) 2.0<¾f1¾/f<6.0, (2) 0.6<f2/f<1.6, (3) 0.7<¾f3¾/f<2.0, (4) 50<v2, and (5) 35<v3<60, wherein f is the focal distance of the entire system, f1 is the focal distance of a first lens, f2 is the focal distance of the second lens, f3 is the focal distance of the third lens, v2 is the Abbe's number of the second lens, and v3 is the Abbe's number of the third lens.
